The Bancroft library at UC Berkeley has recently purchased two of Donna Brookman’s artist books, Metamorphosis and riverrun. The large format Metamorphosis includes sixteen photo-etchings and letterpress text of the Ted Hughes translation. Riverrun is the recent collaboration between poet Anne Barrows and Donna Brookman. The poems were written in response to the drawings and interspersed in a long scroll form.
